The goal of Ultimate Ascent was to score as many discs into a goal within a two minute and fifteen second match. The higher the goal in which the disc was scored, the more points the Alliance receives. The end game was to climb a Pyramid in the center of your scoring side.
Our team opted for a reliable offensive robot as well as a strategic defensive robot. A conveyor system was used to move discs from the robot and into the goal. Also, with a low gear ratio, the robot was able to keep the opposing alliance from lining up their robot to shoot.
